One useful resource I have found is recorded weather information. An ATAD is Automatic Telephone Answering Device - for Environment Canada, it is basically an automated voicemail forecast, updated using computer. While internet sites are nice, they are not always practical, especially when out on the road. EC used to publish these phone numbers, but no longer does so, so this list has been cobbled together from past experience and trial-error. These local numbers also cover some other areas as well (noted where possible), and the recorded forecasts are timely and accurate direct from EC data (ie: computer read from transcript). Use at your own risk, and as always, let me know about any updates/corrections/additions! Thanks!!
