Household Moving - the core service of physically loading all your “stuff” onto a truck and taking it from your old place to your new place... Most moves are priced BY THE HOUR for actual time taken.  Out-of-town (long distance) moves are FLAT-RATED (or BY WEIGHT/VOLUME).  Contact us with details of what you require and we will give you a fair estimate based on your needs!

Packing and Crating - the prep work.  Getting all your things ready to be safely and effectively transported.  Most items such as books, DVDs, tools, pots, pans and toys don’t take a lot of skill or knowledge to “put in a box”.  Packing is a tad more involved (see packing tips) and a PARTIAL PACK is usually for dishes, ornaments, pictures and other breakable items.  Certain items need special handling or CRATING - these can include GLASS, MARBLE, SLATE, SCULPTURES and ARTWORK.  Types of crates vary depending on your needs and budget.  Pricing for packing services can either be HOURLY, COST-PLUS (ie materials and labour), or BY WEIGHT.  Crating costs are usually FLAT RATE, as they are all custom and an on-site visual assessment must be done on each crating job.

Special Products - by their very nature, these don’t really fit into any normal description.  However, common items classed as “special products” are: PIANOS, HOT TUBS/SAUNAS, POOL TABLES, GYM EQUIPMENT and regular items that require special handling, such as SOFABEDS or ARMOIRES that need to be HOISTED or CRANED into place due to access limitations (tight staircases, small doorways etc).  Anything requiring specialized handling or additional manpower is ALWAYS hourly or FLAT RATE following a detailed assessment of the situation.  Contact us for more information about your specific requirements/needs -- and sometimes we can even come up with creative and cost-effective solutions for you!
