Packing (and Unpacking) & Crating Services
Whether we are moving you, you are moving yourself in a rental truck, or if your stuff is just going into storage, proper packing and handling of your valuable items is key. Breakables and fragile items need to be packed correctly and into proper cartons/containers.
* Newspaper and Liquor Store boxes ARE NOT proper cartons/material! (Why? Corrugation on most liquor boxes is too thin to offer adequate protection, and inks on newspapers can transfer to dishes/knicknacks...).
For longer-distance moves (and semi-permenant/long term) storage, some articles will require CRATING for safe and proper handling. Some of these include: glass, marble, slate, high-value paintings, sculptures, other artwork. A lot of people are afraid or misinformed about crating and the costs involved -- rest assured, we are professionals in this matter, and will maximize protection while minimizing costs!
